Sick of the same old same old for your office holiday party?  Then spice things up! Feliz Navidad!  It’s Christmas time all over the world but few places have celebrations that are as warm and colorful as Mexico.  Combine fiesta traditions with your office holiday party, and all your employees and guests will be shouting Ole!

Holiday Fiesta Invitations

The excitement for your party will begin as soon as the invitations arrive.  Imagine your guests delight as they read a personalized Fiesta invitation!

Or maracas with the party information printed on a card and attached with a red or green ribbon will get your guests in the mood to cha-cha the night away.  You can hand deliver these to everyone's office or mail them in a small box. Personalized candy bars wishing your guests Feliz Navidad are also great to add to your invitation. 

Feeling creative?  Design your own invitations in the shape of a sombrero or chili pepper. 

No matter what invitation you choose, be sure to throw some Christmas confetti in the envelope.

Feliz Navidad Decorations and Party Supplies

The fun begins as your guests are greeted by maraca shaking hombres – they’re really fiesta lawn balloons – lining the entryway.  Hang a red, white and green fiesta banner wishing everyone Feliz Navidad over your front door. 

Once inside, treat everyone to Latin sounds with a Fiesta Party CD.  If you're having a band or a DJ, make sure they are ready with an assortment of Latin songs.  Alternate the music with a traditional holiday tunes and everyone will be be ready to celebrate the season.  Better yet, have a Mariachi band strolling through your cocktail hour and entry welcoming guests.

How festive the party will look with fiesta, chili pepper and white star lights hanging from the ceiling and/or strung around the room?  Mix Christmas and Fiesta displays by adding 5' Fiesta Cactus and 5' Christmas Tree graphics to your walls. The Christmas trees would also look great in front of an extra large desert scene. If it's in your budget, rent real Cacti from a local plant store and bring in real Christmas trees.

Be sure to welcome your guests with a lifesize cutout of the boss dressed as a mariachi man (or woman) or as Santa!

Feliz Navidad Tables and Centerpieces

Whether you’re having one buffet table or several food stations, make sure your tables look as good as the food you’re serving.  Cover the tables with red metallic tablecloths and use green and white paper products.  Then mix in fiesta theme plates and napkins. Centerpieces can be bunches of red and white balloons with metallic fiesta balloons mixed in or a sombrero piñata.  (yes! they make a great centerpiece too!)

Want a spicier look for your table?  Use black tablecloths set with fiesta tableware.  Use chili pepper bandanas tied up with seasonally appropriate red, white and green beads. (These are perfect for this theme) Chili pepper candles surrounding sombreros (with chips and snacks in the rim) make for an easy, festive centerpiece. You can even add a felt Santa hat on top of your sombrero! A Mexican poncho also makes a great tablecover.

Fiesta Theme Menu

No matter what you’re serving, appetizers or a full dinner, spicy food is the way to go. Chilis, tamales, nachos – make it as simple or elaborate as you like.  But, be sure to serve all your drinks in neon colored, or flashing margarita glasses.  Serve the drinks with a Christmas theme cocktail napkin.

The crowd will be delighted with flashing light cubes or glowing straws in their drinks.  In addition to margaritas or holiday punch, offer your guests Sidra, a Mexican sparkling cider, for some traditional fun.  You can also serve eggnog in a margarita glass.  Yum! 

Entertainment

You have great decorations, delicious food now bring on the entertainment!  With a live mariachi band, DJ or fiesta party music CD, your employees and guests will want to salsa, mambo or cha-cha all night.  Pass out red, white or silver streamer maracas and everyone can play along.  Someone doesn’t love to dance? No problem!  The fiesta limbo game will have everyone bending over backwards to get involved.

Feliz Navidad Party Favors

Choose a sweet favor that lets your employees know how much you appreciate them.  Have a personalized Feliz Navidad candy bar at each place or have them ready to be passed out at the end of the night.

Be sure to have an assortment of maracas and sombreros on hand for everyone to wear during the evening.  And have personalized Fiesta theme cameras available.  You'll want to get pictures of everyone dressed for the holidays!
