• Deck your venue with balloons in the colors of your graduate's alma mater.  Group balloons in odd numbers near important locations, like the buffet, sign-in, and gift tables. Also, scatter confetti with the graduation year across tables.
• On the sign-in table, display the guest of honor's graduation cap.  Provide a permanent marker so guests can sign it and leave their well wishes.
• Suspend a clothesline over the sign-in table and display the graduate's school pictures (from kindergarten to twelfth grade).  Family and friends will be shocked at his or her transformation over the years.  Consider framing the photos for the graduate as a gift after the party.
