Anniversary Decoration Tips:
- It is traditional to decorate a 25th anniversary in silver, and a 50th in gold. If you are doing a different milestone (30th, 40th) or you want to do something different, you can always do a theme. Hollywood (Silver Screen, Golden Awards, Red Carpet), Travel (Second Honeymoon?), or a them that focuses on photos and memories are all popular.
- For your playlist, feature songs from the decade the couple was married.
- With your invitation ask guests to submit in writing their favorite memories of the couple. Have them send it back with the RSVP so you can assemble them in a scrapbook as a gift for the couple.
- Balloons are great for getting the attention of your guests. Place them in important areas (cake table, buffet, gift table). Place some at the end of your road and driveway to help guide guests to your house or party room. Always group balloons in odd numbers because it is more pleasing to the eye.
