Sesame Street Birthday Party
Sesame Street Party Invitations
Your invitation can play off the classic Sesame Street theme - "This birthday is brought to you by the Number 3 and the Letter C." (Use the first initial of your child's name and their age!)
If you are looking for a "WOW" invitation, have our artist draw a custom caricature invitation. How fun to have your child drawn standing next to Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster or Oscar the Grouch (my favorite!) It is a truly custom invitation, and your guests will be amazed.
Sesame Street Decorations and Party Supplies
Near the entry have a Elmo jumbo air walker balloon. These super tall balloons have weighted feet and "walk" around the room. The kids will LOVE these and they are great for photos.
There is nothing that screams birthday party as much as crepe paper streamers hung around a party room. Match the Sesame Street theme using bright and very fun Sesame Street ceiling danglers.
Balloons are the perfect decoration for a birthday party; they fill the room up with color and are inexpensive! Use a balloon bouquet hung from bright colored curling ribbon. Always use an odd number of balloons to make the best looking bouquets.
Sesame Street Table Decorations and Menu
Dinner can be simple at a birthday party. Get a few sheet pizzas and pans of pasta for everyone and salads for the adults. Look for Sesame Street theme cookies and crackers (available with the infant and toddler food at the grocery store) and have them around the room for everyone to snack on during the party. Have assorted sodas and bottles of water available for the adults and juice boxes for the kids. Add matching personalized Sesame Street water bottle labels to the table for a fun tie in to the theme!
After all that party food, a fun Elmo cake (made in an Sesame Street cake pan) will be a big hit at the party. Or how about an assortment of cupcakes or cookies decorated like the different Sesame Street monsters?
Sesame Street Party Activities
Cookie Decorating - Always fun and tasty... dessert and activity in one. Before the party, bake sugar cookies and let them cool. 2-3 cookies per child is a good rule of thumb (one to eat, some to take home... and now you have a favor too!) Provide white icing and sprinkles, and a take home container (this custom Sesame Street party favor bag is perfect). You can add a little note "Friends are the sprinkles on the cookie of life... thanks for celebrating Billy's birthday with him!"
