Corporate Underwriting Committee
- Develop corporate proposal to be used for solicitation. Proposal to include
- sponsorship dollar commitment
- cost of corporate table
- itemized list of expenses to be underwritten in kind or by cash donation (e.g.,
printing, postage, etc.)
- what our organization offers in exchange (e.g., table of 10, advertising in program,
etc.)
- Secure corporate sponsorships at the level agreed upon by the committee through personal
contact, letter writing and proposals
- Secure corporate tables at the level agreed upon by the committee through personal
contact, letter writing and proposals
- Secure underwriting for the event from suggested corporate sources through personal
contact, letter writing and proposals
- Phone follow-up on this correspondence
- Maintain communication with event coordinator so that thank-you notes and invoices can
be initiated and mailed
- Compile an invitation list from corporate sponsors and underwriters and feed it to the
Invitation Mailing Committee
- Phone follow-up on corporate list coordinated with the Dinner Planning Committee. (In
this way, empty seats at specific table(s) can be filled in as space allows.)
