A luau is one of our favorite themes at Party411 and we especially love throwing one outside in a fabulous tent on a beautful simmer day!  There are a ton of great luau decorations and party supplies, so we think anyone can (and should!) throw a luau! 

We planned this luau for a local Bat Mitzvah in a tent set up surrounding a pool and the celebrant's family home.  As the guests arrived we had models dressed in hula gear passing out leis to all the guests. 

A lifesize caricature cutout of the Bat Mitzvah girl greeted guests at the entrance to the tent as well as fun caricature cutouts of assorted jungle animals in luau gear!

Bright tropical color balloons and with luau theme mylar balloons looked beautiful on the tables in the tent.  Of course, we used raffia flower tableskirts on all the buffets and even at the top of the tent! 

The Bat Mitzvah guests had a wonderful evening under the stars, doing the hula, dancing and enjoying each other's company.
