Jaimie asked:
Occasion: Christmas party
Do you have any good games that aren't totally third grade and lots of fun
The Game Girl says:
Go to the book store and get one of those box mystery games. They're great
to play. Find out who has Fumble Fingers with a game of Don't Drop It! Find
two sets of ten items that are awkward to pass hand to hand, such as a
feather, flypaper, popcorn kernel, Slime, caterpillar, toothpick, glass of
water, ice cream cone, plate of marbles, and so on. Set the items on a table
in a row. Have each player put on a pair of roomy garden gloves. Divide the
group into two teams and have each team form a line. Have the first players on
each team pick up the first item from the table and pass it to the next player
in line. If a player drops or spills the item, it must be returned to the
table and passed from the beginning again. First team to complete all the
passes, wins! Here's a variation: Have the two teams wearing gloves stand in
line. Give the first players the same number of pieces of gum as there are
players on the team. The first player must hold the gum, and try to unwrap a
piece to put in his mouth, then pass the gum pieces on to the next player, who
must try to do the same. The first team to have all their mouths full of gum
wins the game! Tape record a bunch of commercials from TV, being sure not to
record the name of the product. Space them out a bit on the tape with some
blank tape in between, then play the tape back at the party and let them all
race to guess the name of the product. You can do this with video tape if you
prefer, and play the tape back on your VCR. You can also tape record bits of
TV shows instead of commercials, for fun. or: Tape record a bunch of

I have a winter birthday and was thinking of having a swimming party at a
hotel but couldn't think of any games or anything that we could do that would
be fun. It's a guy and girl party and after the guys leave I'm having a
sleepover at the hotel and again couldn't think of anything to do I don't want
to get to noisy since I am in a hotel, any suggestions?
The Game Girl says:
For the swimming part, have a water volleyball game, do the limbo and play
pass the orange. Look at party411com/themes under the beach area and
party411.com/gamegirl under the teen game and sleepover games for other ideas.

Help!! I'm having a Sweet 16 tomorrow with boys and girls of different ages
and some are from different schools. I haven't slept for the past few nights
because I'm afraid no-one will have fun!!! I know my good friends will, but
how do I entertain EVERYONE? There is no theme to my party. I have my dad's
huge stereo in the furnished basement and a good mix of music. The food will
be upstairs in the kitchen, but I don't want some to wander into the living
room and sit there all night! The party is 4 hours long. Please answer ASAP!!!
The Game Girl says:
I may be too late for you. I just got your question. Look at the teen game
section for some ideas.

I need to know of some interactive games for a 16 year old party. I have been
to a lot of parties and people are like. This is dumb. I want people to walk
out of mine and say. THAT WAS THE BEST PARTY EVER. I have a really outgoing
and funny group of friends. Can u share some funny group and even perverted
games for us.
The Game Girl says:
Try some of these: fun and doesn't cost anything really. Or: You might try

could play a variation on Pin the Tail on the Donkey, or using felt-tip pens
and a large body outline of yourself, have them do your surgery - with their
EYES CLOSED! Then pass around "body parts." Place food items, such
as two peeled grapes for eyes, popcorn kernels for teeth, an apricot half for
the liver, and so on, then have everyone feel inside paper bags and try to
guess what they are really feeling, as you identify them as body parts! Good
luck with your surgery! have them try to guess what they are feeling.

the party? when and where? Boys and girls or just girls? Theme? Give me some
clues. Or you can surf the different ideas in gamegirl.

b-day games,
My sister is going to be 18 and I would like to know of some creative games,
and cake ideas. The ideas need to be relatively inexpensive. If you could
send this ASAP I would appreciate it. Thank You very much!!
The Game Girl says:
Without knowing anything about your budget or your sister, I can't be
really specific. Try looking at the different categories of the gamegirl site
for games to play she might enjoy. If you are doing a theme, have a cake made
to match or find a bakery that scans pictures on cakes and have her pic
scanned.

Occasion: 13th Birthday
I'm having a very important 13th birthday party. It's all girls and I need
some games that fit the theme of a fiesta.
The Game Girl says:
How about having a taco bar and let the kids pick and choose what they want
for their tacos? Then have a piņata, only fill it with fortunes as well as
candy or small toys. Ask the kids to perform a Mexican Hat Dance - and make up
the dance around the hat. Award a prize for the most creative dance!

Becky asked:
Occasion: Sweet 16
Could you suggest a place to have a party that would accommodate 35 people? I
also need advice on possible games to have. Thank you.
The Game Girl says:
You could host the party at the roller rink, the pizza parlor, at a laser
game, at the park, at a theme park, or even at a ballgame. Then play games
appropriate to the place! See below for some other game suggestions.
Wendy asked:
Occasion: Graduation
Any fun games or activities you can recommend? We also want to roast the
graduate - any ideas?
The Game Girl says:
There are some games listed below that should help with graduation. As for
a roast, have everyone come with a funny anecdote about the graduate, then
take turns telling them to the group. Another fun graduation game: "Get a
Job!" Read want-ads without telling the graduate the title of the job -
and let him guess!
Amy asked:
Occasion: Graduation
I need help figuring out what kinds of games teenagers would like to do. My
party is an all girl Hawaiian Luau Party, and it is outdoors.
The Game Girl says:
Check out the suggestions below, and under the Outdoor section for more

Kelly asked:
Occasion: 8th Grade Graduation Party
My 8th grade class is having a party at the YMCA. I need some ideas for some
games to play.
The Game Girl says:
How about a round of "Quick Draw"? Write some phrases on
cards taken from some of the 8th grade classes the kids have completed, such
as "Dissecting a cow's lung," "Building the Pyramids,"
etc. Divide the group into small teams, and place two teams together. Give
each team a pad of paper and have one team member draw a card. That player
must try to draw what's on the card for the other team members within 3
minutes time. Take turns drawing the cards and drawing pictures until everyone
has had a turn. Whoever has the most points, wins!
