Patsy Cline's ballad "I Fall to Pieces" came in at Number Two. Roy Orbison's "Crying" came in at Number Four. The sixth place song for 1961 was "My True Story" by The Jive Five. Chubby Checker had the Number Seven, Number Seventy and Number Ninety-Four songs of 1961. Name any of them! The String-A-Longs recorded the eighth place song "Wheels." Number Nine was "Raindrops." The singer was no relation to the man who helped bring Rock 'n Roll to our TV sets. And, Number Ten for 1961 was "Wooden Heart" by Joe Dowell.
