Disco Fever Party

Disco Fever is a fab theme for your next corporate party. Who can resist the music of  Donna Summer, the Bee Gees, Earth Wind and Fire, Gloria Gaynor, Lionel Richie, Peaches & Herb, and The Village People. The whole company will be feelin' tha funk as they do the hustle under the disco ball (Bellbottoms optional!)

Disco Fever Party Invitations

You can get the whole company buzzing about the Disco Fever party by sending out a fantastic invitations.  Attach a disco ball necklace to a custom disco invitation from Creations For You™.  Mail them both with Disco theme confetti in a padded envelope for an extra wow factor.  Your clients or employees will all be talking about your big event after getting that in the mail!

Be sure to let everyone know to come dressed in their 70s best, whether it is bell-bottom pants, big gold chains, polyester wrap dresses or red gloss lipstick! No suits! (Unless they are polyester leisure suits).

Disco Fever Party Welcome Area

Greet your guests with a lifesize cutout of of the boss or CEO dressed in disco gear. Add a speech bubble telling everyone "Go ahead and catch Disco Fever with XYZ Company, but would ya watch the hair?".

Or, have a disco theme photo op for your employees to take pictures with! (Give everyone a personalized camera to take pictures!  They will love it as a favor from the event) It would also be great fun to hire professional actors or dancers to come dressed in their 70s best to interact with your guests.  Be sure to include them in your photo op!

Of course you should have 70s music playing in the background. 

If you are having a registration area, use Disco theme seating cards that match your invitations.  As you hand your guests their seating card, also hand them Disco ball beads to wear throughout the evening!
 

Disco Fever Party Decorations

There are multitudes of things that can be done to decorate your Disco Fever party. First of all, hang Disco Dancers room rolls on the walls.  Mylar Disco Ball Balloons will look great either in balloon bouquets or hanging down from the ceiling!

To set the mood with lights, try real disco stuff.  Set up black lights and lava lamps around the room as well. For a nicely scented finishing touch, light some candles or incense to fill the room with a popular 70s fragrance.  Throw down a few beanbag chairs for some relaxing setting areas.

Hang an assortment of disco balls (of course!) in all colors from the ceiling for an added cool illusion.  For a larger event, hire a lighting company to hang disco balls and wash the room in bright colors that will reflect off the disco balls.

Have fondue for your meal or dessert! This way each pot serves as a the meal as well as a centerpiece. If you want to really get everyone mingling, put a different type of fondue at each table. (Make sure to have cheese fondue as an appetizer and chocolate fondue for dessert.) If your food will be centered elsewhere, wrap tie-dyed bandanas around sand filled balloons and tie it closed with a colored ribbon. Attach Disco Ball Balloons to give it height. Disco dancer piñatas make festive centerpieces, too.  Throw Disco theme confetti around the tables.

Make the bar area stand out with fiber optic lights and disco garland. Have the bartender serve tequila sunrises and pina coladas in keeping with 70's disco fever theme.  Make sure the bartender is dressed up too, the Saturday Night Fever costume is perfect!

Disco Fever Party Games and Activities

A Disco Fever party lends itself to the perfect activity, disco dancing! Make sure your DJ plays all those 70's disco hits such as "Shake You Groove Thing" by Peaches & Herb, "Disco Inferno" by the Trammps, "Don't Leave Me This Way" by Thelma Houston, and "You Should Be Dancing" by the Bee Gees.

Hire a professional dance instructor to come and teach your guests some moves out on the dance floor.  Your employees will have a blast learning how to do the Hustle and the Cha Cha.

You can also have a costume contest, and have everyone vote on the person in the best disco costume.  Let your employees know beforehand that you will be handing out prizes to those voted to have the most "Far Out" 70's costumes.

Disco Party Favors 

Since you want all of your guest to leave with smiles on their faces, why not give them smiley faced favors?  Try a mixture of these great products:
